What We Hope to Have for Record Store Day

RSD2015recordRecord Store Day is right around the corner and we’ve been busy shopping for you!  We ordered way more records for this year’s event so we hope we’ll have the titles you’re looking to get. A complete list of what we ordered is below. Since quantities are limited, we may not get everything, but stop by on April 18th to see what’s in-store. Record Store Day Schedule of Events

Vinyl Revival is proud to be participating in Record Store Day, an international day to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store, on April 19, 2014.  Vinyl Revival will stock a selection of titles that are Record Store Day exclusive, limited edition and first releases.  As part of the Record Store Day celebration, there will be free entertainment by indie/alternative musicians, a book signing, light refreshments and drinks during store hours from 10 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

10 a.m. – Store opens

11 a.m. – Book signing with James Rosin, author of “Philly Pop, Rock, Rhythm & Blues”

11 a.m. –  Performance by Aaron Hug

12 p.m. – Performance by Nina Marie

1:30 p.m. – performance by Ghost Gum

We’re Now A Record Store Day Record Store

We are super excited to announce that Vinyl Revival is now a participating Record Store Day record store!  This designation means that we will sell the special  Record Store Day releases in our store on Record Store Day and on Black Friday.

Record Store Day is a celebration of music by independent record stores held on the third Saturday of April that  features special releases, live performances, etc.  We are so happy to be included in this group of indie retailers who truly care about keeping the spirit of the record store alive in the digital age.  We plan on making our first Record Store Day a huge celebration for all of our customers and our community!
