Greta Van Fleet “Starcatcher” Listening Party

Stop in on Wednesday, July 19th at 5 p.m., to hear Greta Van Fleet‘s newest release, “Starcatcher.”

We’ll be taking pre-orders for the acclaimed rockers’ third album  which was produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile). The album was recorded at RCA Studios in Nashville.

Grammy Award-winning band Greta Van Fleet consists of three brothers – vocalist Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka and bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka – as well as drummer Danny Wagner. Together, they have performed across multiple continents, sold over 3. 5 million records and 1 million tickets worldwide.

Listening party attendees will have a chance to pick up some great prizes like slipmats and posters so join us!

 

“Barbie The Album” Listening Party

On Tuesday, July 18th, join us for a “Barbie The Album” Listening Party at 4 p.m.!

The soundtrack for the movie “Barbie,” in theaters on July 21st, features Billie Eilish, Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj, Haim, Lizzo, and the K-Pop group Fifty Fifty, to name just a few.

We’ll have fun exclusive giveaways like posters and very limited quantities of heart-shaped sunglasses, t-shirts, and visors available ONLY at the listening party! And, we’ll be taking pre-orders for the limited edition CD (the ONLY physical version of the album that includes “Barbie Dreams” by K-Pop artist, FIFTY FIFTY feat. Kaliii) and the exclusive limited edition vinyl version of the release.

Feel free to dress in pink and get in the Barbie spirit!

 

RSD Performance by Anestis “Andy” Hionides

Anestis “Andy” Hionides performs in-store for Record Store Day!

Co-founder, lead vocalist, and lead guitarist for the band Three Fourteen, Andy has played several large venues, casinos, and festivals in the north east since 2014 including The Brooklyn Bowl (Philadelphia, PA), Ardmore Music Hall (Ardmore, PA), Underground Arts (Philadelphia, PA), World Cafe Live (Philadelphia, PA), Brother Jimmy’s Live (New York, NY), 2nd Street Music Festival (Philadelphia, PA), The Queen (Wilmington, DE), Harrah’s & Parx Casino, Hard Rock Cafe, and many more!

Andy has an abundant repertoire of rock/reggae/blues original compositions, as well as cover songs by favorite artists such as The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, and many other rock/reggae/blues/soul groups.

His songwriting has been very generous, as well as his composition work with Josh Lassoff and Joe Acri. He plays music with many local musicians including Gerry Smith, Jamie Lundmark, and his songwriting partner Mikey Hepperly.

Record Store Day at Vinyl Revival – April 22nd

Vinyl Revival celebrates Record Store Day, the international day to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store, on April 22, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Vinyl Revival will stock titles that are Record Store Day Exclusives, RSD First titles, and Small Run/Regional Titles.

Shoppers can enjoy an in-store performance by Anestis “Andy” Hionides  of Three Fourteen from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Receive free Record Store Day promotional merch with a $50 purchase while supplies last.

Enjoy complimentary light refreshments and drinks.

Additionally, everyone who makes a purchase will receive a coupon for 20% off a future purchase (some restrictions apply).

Here’s how the line works:

There is usually a line so we will let in the first customer in line for 10 minutes of shopping then let in the next person in line, and so on. Doors will open to the general public/walk ups once all of the people in line have had a chance to shop.

RSD quantities are limited so there is a limit of one copy per title per customer.

Codirected by Shawn Swords and Roger Bruce, the film explores the time the students spent at Thomas Edison High School and aims to shine a light on, and pay tribute to, the disproportionate number of Edison students turned soldiers who enlisted in the hopes of a better life but who ended up giving their lives.

Screenings are FREE.

Seating is limited. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.

Record Store Day Drops July 17th

Join us to celebrate the culture of independent record stores!

Come shop the second Record Store Day Drops on Saturday, July 17th from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.!

Our boo-hoo for no music and snacks at our June event has turned into a WOO-HOO for July!   We WILL have drinks and snacks plus FREE promotional items with purchases over $50 while supplies last.
