There is usually a line so we will let in the first customer in line for 10 minutes of shopping then let in the next person in line, and so on.
Doors will open to the general public/walk ups once all of the people in line have had a chance to shop.
Our boo-hoo for no music and snacks at our June event has turned into a WOO-HOO for July! We WILL have drinks and snacks plus FREE promotional items with purchases over $50 while supplies last.

Join Vinyl Revival and artist George H. Rothacker for a Spring Fling, a one-day celebration of the arts in Delaware County, featuring classic rock legends artwork on display and on the big screen.
Paintings and prints of Rock Legends by artist George H. Rothacker will be ON DISPLAY AND FOR SALE AT VINYL REVIVAL FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY. Rock Legend Classics was created to salute the exciting rock heroes of the past 50 years. Original 40” x 30” acrylic paintings will be on display in the Vault screening room and a video of the Rock Legends will play on the big screen throughout the day on SATURDAY, MAY 8th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
PLUS, meet the artist! George will be on site to personally sign his memoir, The Diverse Artistic Universe of George H. Rothacker: A Memoir with Pictures (available for sale) between 12 – 2 p.m.
Admission to the classic Rock Legends event is FREE!
Attendees must wear masks and observe 6′ social distancing rules while in the store and theater.
Every year around this time, I put together a recap of in-store events; music, movies, and more. This year, I can’t say that I have much to write.
Other than the February Rolling Stones and March British Blues Fan Nights that squeaked in just before the non-essential business shutdown, we, unfortunately, have not been able to host up-and-coming bands, indie filmmakers, and artists in 2020.
However, outside of store events, I DID recently have the opportunity to be involved in a couple of very cool music-related experiences.
In November, I had the exciting opportunity to interview Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor on itsashort.com as part of the FirstGlance Film Festival. Corey starred in Bad Candy, a fun gory horror film that screened at FirstGlance. I was a little nervous (really, A LOT nervous), but he was easy to talk to, and I even got a chance to ask him about his debut solo album, CMFT*. I love when my film and music worlds collide! Then in early December, I volunteered for the Share Food Program along with a group of Low Cut Connie fans that have bonded through the Tough Cookies Facebook page. Little did we know that lead singer Adam Weiner would surprise us; I’ve met him before, after shows, but he helped box canned goods and performed a socially distanced acoustic set that included songs from LCC’s new album Private Lives* for all of the volunteers. It was such a special up close and personal experience; I will never forget it. Check out the band’s December 2nd Facebook post to see some photos from the event.
2020 has had its share of challenges, but we are hanging in there! We hope that all of you are too! We’re so grateful for your support, and we look forward to seeing everyone at in-store events in 2021. Thank you for allowing us to bring you the healing power of music. We especially need it this year.

There are so many national day celebrations! When I began researching some of the holidays in August, I was surprised to find that there were several events that we could celebrate at Vinyl Revival. There’s National Coloring Book Day on August 2nd, National Vinyl Record Day (not to be confused with Record Store Day) on August 12th, National Radio Day on August 20th, and National Poet’s Day on August 21st.
I wanted to highlight a couple of books by local authors that we’re proud to carry which can be celebrated this month and all year long.
The Colors of Life and Love books are adult coloring books featuring real people in real places. They were created by local resident T.L. Wahid in support of mental well-being. You can celebrate national Coloring Book Day every day and enjoy some relaxing down time when you add your colorful interpretations to the pages.
We also carry Another Day on Planet Earth, a book of poetry by local author Frank Rosci. The book is a compilation of poems written over forty years and the subject matter is wide ranging-from nature, religion, and relationships to travel and history, as well as to topics more whimsical and fanciful. Perfect for the beach or your backyard hammock.

Vinyl Revival is proud to be participating in Record Store Day, an international day to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store, on April 13, 2019. Vinyl Revival will stock a selection of titles that are Record Store Day exclusive, limited edition and first releases. As part of the Record Store Day celebration, there will be free in-store performances in association with WPHL-dB URock Radio Philadelphia featuring musicians Kevin Tarzanin and Eddie Everett. There will also be a performance by Vinyl Revival favorites, Three Fourteen. Vinyl Revival will give out free Record Store Day promotional materials with purchases and provide light refreshments and drinks for shoppers during extended store hours from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Vinyl Revival and WPHL-dB URock Radio Philadelphia have programmed live entertainment for customers’ shopping enjoyment which will be broadcast live to the net during store hours on Record Store Day. Performing is vocalist and bass player Kevin Tarzanin from the reggae/ska band Bullbuckers, drummer Eddie Everett from Eddie Everett’s Academy of the Sweet Beats and the reggae and blues-influenced rock jam band, Three Fourteen. Along with their originals, Three Fourteen plays songs by their favorite artists such as The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and many other rock groups.
Three Fourteen will play at 1 p.m. and Eddie and Kevin will play at 2:30 p.m. Music and merchandise by the performing bands will be available for sale at Vinyl Revival.
Additionally, Vinyl Revival will host a book signing with T.L. Wahid, creator of Colors of Life and Love. Featuring real people and real photos, the adult coloring books promote well-being and living well.
